    Well done for making this film. I have met this lovely family, some time ago before their last baby was born, and their catalogue of suffering is an appalling story. The arbitrary and callous way they have been treated by the Home Office sickens me. It is difficult to resist the conclusion that the H.O.just can’t ever admit they have been wrong and they would prefer to drive innocent people to the brink of suicide than to revisit their past erroneous decisions. I am very glad and relieved that H. has not been sent back to prison, but I’m sure it’s only because the authorities fear the bad publicity, now his case is out in the open, that he hasn’t been locked up again. I was told that Judge Mitting made some very patronising remarks when he gave his decision. Congratulations to all of you, and please keep up this work. S.G.
